That 1 Painter has always worked with a sense of purpose: To help fellow human beings. Our founder, Steven Montgomery, started our Paint It Forward program. The program involves a free-of-charge makeover that consists of painting a home for a family in need. As time went on, it became more than just a simple project.

We have given back to communities in ways we could not have imagined when we first started our Paint It Forward initiative. From a fresh coat of paint to complete home renovations, That 1 Painter has been able to change the lives of thousands of fellow community members on both local and national levels. We're not just known for transforming homes—we strive to transform lives with each paint brush we pick up.

Once a quarter we partner with Sherwin Williams to paint a home for FREE for a family in need.
