Cabinet Painting in Treasure Valley

Cabinet refinishing is the single highest-impact interior project we do in the Treasure Valley, and the kitchens that reach out are usually one of two houses: a 1980s or 1990s Boise, Nampa, or Caldwell build with honey oak that has read dated since roughly 2015, or a Meridian or Eagle kitchen with builder-grade maple that never suited the client. Both refinish beautifully, but oak needs its heavy grain filled if the client wants a truly smooth face, and maple needs a stain-blocking primer. Two-tone kitchens dominate the requests we see across Meridian, Eagle, and Star: warm off-white perimeters paired with a saturated island in deep navy, forest green, or warm charcoal. Boise North End remodels lean into layered heritage tones with brushed brass or matte black hardware. The finish schedule is built for a sprayed, hand-leveled result on doors and drawer fronts, with brush-and-roll only where a spray simply cannot go without masking the whole house.

Treasure Valley kitchens work in a dry climate that is actually kind to cabinet finishes, but heavy cooking and daily use still push grease onto fronts long before the finish itself fails. Crews degrease with a real cleaner, sand for adhesion, and use a cabinet-grade waterborne alkyd that cures hard enough that soap and a rag do not lift color months later. Cabinet work sequences cleanly with any interior painting already on the scope, and exposed soffit drywall can fold in drywall repair.
