Professional Painting Company in St. Paul, MN
Why Homeowners Choose That 1 Painter Twin Cities in St. Paul, MN?
- We Know St. Paul Homes: St. Paul has some of the oldest homes in Minnesota, from Victorians on Summit Hill and Cathedral Hill to Tudors and Colonials in Macalester-Groveland and Highland Park. Plaster walls, old-growth wood trim, and multi-color exteriors shape most St. Paul projects, and each one rewards patient prep.
- Ready for Summit Avenue Scale: Homes along Summit Avenue and the surrounding Historic Hill streets are often three stories tall, with steep roofs, dormers, towers and deep cornices. Painting them well takes proper access, patience and a crew that never rushes trim. We plan staging carefully and work section by section so every detail gets full attention.
- Every Neighborhood Matters: Beyond the grand homes, St. Paul is full of modest houses in Hamline-Midway, Payne-Phalen, Como and St. Anthony Park, many with clapboard siding, small porches and original windows. We give a story-and-a-half on a narrow lot the same thorough prep as a mansion, because those homes matter just as much to their owners.
Benefits of Hiring That 1 Painter Twin Cities in St. Paul, MN
- Historic Home Care: We follow lead-safe practices, repair plaster before painting, and sequence multi-color Victorian schemes carefully so St. Paul homes keep their character. Old-growth wood rewards slow, careful work, so we take the time to scrape, sand and prime it properly before any finish coat goes on.
- Porches, Columns and Sashes: Wood windows, porch columns and wraparound railings are part of what makes St. Paul homes so appealing, and they are usually the first surfaces to fail. We scrape and sand sashes, replace failed caulk, fill and prime columns and rails, and repaint them with coatings suited to heavy weather exposure.
- Interiors With Original Character: Many St. Paul interiors still have tall baseboards, picture rails, pocket doors and stained woodwork. We protect natural wood you want to preserve, bring previously painted trim to a smooth finish, and choose wall colors that complement period details instead of fighting them. Floors, stairs and banisters are covered first.

Our crews also serve Roseville, Maplewood, West St. Paul, Falcon Heights and Minneapolis, so homeowners on both sides of the Mississippi work with the same dependable team.
