Professional Painting Company in Stillwater, MN
Why Homeowners Choose That 1 Painter Twin Cities in Stillwater, MN?
- We Know Stillwater Homes: Stillwater's historic district along the St. Croix River is full of 19th-century brick and clapboard homes, while newer neighborhoods sit on the west side of the city. River humidity, old wood, and historic brick shape most Stillwater projects, and each one calls for a different approach to prep and coatings.
- Comfortable on the Hills: Homes on Stillwater's North Hill and South Hill often sit on steep lots with tall gables and tight side yards. We set up ladders and staging safely on slopes, protect stone walls and gardens, and take the time to reach high eaves and dormers properly rather than skipping hard spots.
- Lead-Safe on Older Paint: Most homes in Stillwater's older neighborhoods carry layers of paint from decades past. We follow lead-safe practices when scraping and sanding, contain dust and debris, and clean up thoroughly at the end of each day so your family, pets and neighbors are protected while the work is underway.
Benefits of Hiring That 1 Painter Twin Cities in Stillwater, MN
- Restoration-Level Prep: Old wood is washed, consolidated and primed before breathable coatings go on, so historic Stillwater homes keep their character and their finish lasts. We repair window sills, glaze where needed and replace only the trim pieces that cannot be saved, keeping as much original material as possible.
- Color Plans With History: Victorian and Italianate houses in Stillwater were designed for several colors on the body, trim and details. We help you build a palette that fits the architecture, then test samples on the house so you can see how they look against brick, stone and river light.
- Fresh Looks for West Side Homes: Not every Stillwater project is historic. Newer two-story homes west of downtown need updated exterior color, refreshed trim and cleaner interiors. We bring the same careful prep to these homes, with modern coatings that stand up to sun and Minnesota winters. Garage doors, shutters and decks can be folded into the same project.
That 1 Painter Twin Cities Service Areas in Stillwater, MN

Our crews also serve Oak Park Heights, Bayport, Lake Elmo and Grant, handling everything from river-view homes to acreage properties with the same careful approach.
