That 1 Painter Northwest Atlanta locally owned and operated

We're Locally Owned

That 1 Painter Northwest Atlanta is a locally owned That 1 Painter location opening in the area, based around Marietta and set up to serve homes and businesses from in-town Atlanta out through Cobb, Cherokee and Bartow counties. The territory is an unusually varied mix: plaster-walled bungalows and high-rise condos inside the city, historic homes near Marietta Square and downtown Cartersville, subdivisions full of brick-front two-stories in Kennesaw, Acworth and Woodstock, and rural properties with long fence lines toward Ball Ground, Waleska and Adairsville. The location brings That 1 Painter's prep-first process, premium coatings and clear communication to that whole range, with an approach shaped by Georgia's humidity, red clay and spring pollen. More details about the team and the opening will be shared here as launch gets closer.

Your painting project means as much to us as it does to you. We're licensed and insured, and our promise is simple: we'll be your best house guests, treating your place with the utmost care and leaving it even more pristine than when we arrived.

That 1 Painter Northwest Atlanta is not open yet and is opening soon to serve Cobb, Cherokee, Bartow and in-town Atlanta. This page will be updated as the launch approaches, and in the meantime our painting guides and color tools are available across the That 1 Painter site.

That 1 Painter Northwest Atlanta will serve Marietta, Smyrna, Kennesaw, Acworth, Woodstock, Canton, Ball Ground, Waleska, Cartersville, Adairsville, Emerson, Rydal, White and Fairmount, along with in-town Atlanta neighborhoods such as Midtown, Buckhead, West Midtown, Atlantic Station and Vinings.

The Northwest Atlanta location will offer interior and exterior painting, cabinet painting, deck and fence staining, pressure washing, drywall repair, popcorn ceiling removal, limewash, brick painting, stucco repair, caulking, repair and maintenance, sell-ready services and commercial painting. Each service page for this location explains how that work is adapted to local homes and weather.

Fall is usually the most reliable season for exterior painting in Northwest Atlanta, with lower humidity and mild, steady temperatures. Late spring works once pine pollen has cleared, and summer exteriors are scheduled for morning hours to avoid afternoon thunderstorms and the hottest wall temperatures.

Georgia red clay stains the lowest siding courses, trim and foundations when rain splashes soil against the house, and that staining can bleed through new paint if it is not removed. Affected areas are cleaned with a product made for iron-rich soil and spot-primed with a stain blocker before topcoats go on.

Heavy pine pollen in March and April settles on every outdoor surface in Cobb and Cherokee and will stick to wet paint. Exterior surfaces are washed right before painting during pollen season, work is timed around the heaviest days, and interior rooms stay closed so pollen does not drift onto fresh finishes.

Yes, high-rise condo painting in Midtown, Buckhead and Atlantic Station is part of this location's plan, with the schedule built around building rules. Most towers set work hours, require elevator reservations and ask for insurance paperwork from contractors, so those details are arranged with management before work starts.

Yes, HOA color approval is a normal step for many subdivisions in Kennesaw, Acworth, Woodstock, Canton and east Cobb. Color samples can be prepared on the home for the owner to submit, and exterior work is scheduled after the association has signed off on the palette.
