Pressure Washing in Lubbock

Pressure washing is one of the busiest scopes we run across the South Plains every spring and after every haboob or hail cycle. Winter caliche dust, spring pollen, and dry-side chalk coat driveways, sidewalks, and elevations through most of the year, and mildew on shaded north walls in Tech Terrace and Hillcrest bungalows is heavy enough that any repaint bonded on top would fail early. Crews adjust pressure and tip size to the substrate so painted brick, HardiePlank, painted wood, stone, and concrete each get the right approach.

Historic Tech Terrace and Hillcrest homes tend to have chalky paint and softer joints that will not tolerate maximum pressure, while newer Wolfforth and Shallowater builds can take a more aggressive wash. Cedar shingle and specialty facades take a soft-wash chemical approach rather than mechanical pressure. Concrete drives, pavers, and stamped hardscape each get a different pressure and detergent approach at the estimate.

Most standalone pressure-washing requests here are pre-listing cleanups, pre-paint prep, or post-hail cleanup. When the goal is a full exterior repaint, the wash is scoped as the first day of the project so paint bonds to a clean substrate. Our writeup on long-lasting exterior paint treats pressure washing as step one for a reason.
