When he isn’t helping homeowners in Charleston, Tyler can be found golfing, riding motocross, or walking his dogs. He’s operated a remodeling business for the last 5+ years and has managerial experience extending beyond that as well. Both of which are reasons why he knew that That 1 Painter Charleston needed to happen. 

His belief in service, getting the job done right the first time, and building relationships in the community are how he aims to provide the highest quality home services to the community. 

How That 1 Painter Charleston Came to Be 

Tyler Austin always had a mind that wanted to know how things worked. As a kid, he would often take things apart just to see what made them tick, much to his mother’s dismay at times. But this fascination extended into business, figuring out how to make people’s homes beautiful, paying attention to the details that many tend to miss.

Before getting into home remodeling, Tyler traveled the country as a tour manager, building sets during events for several bands. 

Tyler values his neighbors. With initiatives like “Paint it Forward,” he looks to use his business as a way to help those around him, giving back to the people of Charleston.
