Pressure Washing in Arlington-Alexandria

Pressure washing is one of the busiest scopes we run across Arlington and Alexandria every spring after the winter finally lifts. DC-area humidity keeps mildew building on shaded elevations most of the year, and by late summer mildew on north walls in Del Ray and North Arlington is heavy enough that any repaint bonded on top would fail early. Crews adjust pressure and tip size so painted brick, painted wood, stucco, HardiePlank, and concrete each get the right approach.

Historic Old Town townhomes tend to have chalky paint and softer mortar joints that will not tolerate maximum pressure, while newer Ballston-corridor infill can take a more aggressive wash. Cedar shingle and specialty facades take a soft-wash chemical approach rather than mechanical pressure to preserve the shingle face. Concrete drives, pavers, and stamped hardscape each get a different pressure and detergent approach at the estimate.
