I cannot emphasize strongly enough: do not use this company. They are a regional branch of a national brand that simply subcontracts painters, with no regard for whether they are skilled or professional.
We purchased a nearly new home (just 3 years old) and arranged for the entire interior to be painted before moving in. The initial contact with the regional owner was quick, but we never heard from him again. We scheduled the job well in advance, coordinated around flooring work, and made plans to move in with two toddlers and a dog once the work was completed.
The subcontracted painters who arrived were completely unqualified. They caused permanent damage to our home: paint all over the ceiling, cabinets, and floors, drips on walls, outlet covers painted over, siding edges sloppily coated, and even a bathroom primed that wasn’t supposed to be touched. Most devastating, they painted over parts of our fireplace, which a professional mason later confirmed can only be repaired by removing and potentially rebuilding the wall behind it.
Despite this, the salesman claimed the job was finished and “looked great.” Other contractors coming through our home were shocked by the poor quality. Friends and family advised us to pursue legal action. After insisting on accountability, the company finally sent someone to inspect the work, who agreed it was unacceptable. Their proposed solution was to send the same crew back, which we refused.
A new painter was eventually assigned, and he was excellent, but he was told this was only a “touch-up” when in reality, the entire house needed to be redone. He came nearly a dozen times and did the best he could, but the scope of the mess was too large. By August, the company declared the project “finished” again, even though it clearly was not. We ultimately hired our own independent painter to complete the job.
The only positive is that we eventually received partial compensation—one-third off the original quote, reimbursement for boarding costs for our dog during the repeated visits, and a contribution toward the new painter’s work. But this came only after pushing back when they tried to reduce the agreed amount.
It is now October, and what should have been a straightforward interior paint job has turned into months of frustration, additional expenses, and permanent damage to our “forever home.” The regional owner, copied on every email, has never once contacted us.
I do not reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others. We would have gladly paid double to a reputable company to avoid this nightmare. For full transparency, I will be attaching photos to show the level of damage and poor workmanship—this is not the complaint of a picky customer, but evidence of a job botched beyond belief.
And one last note: many of the five-star reviews you see here appear to come from friends and family of company employees.
