The job site team were friendly, professional, and very efficient. They did a great job, and at a faster pace than I would have anticipated. From owner Carmen’s first visit to assess our project right through to project completion, the entire team was professional and dedicated to the project. The work included repainting all of our kitchen and master bath cabinets–an enormous, time-consuming undertaking. The results were absolutely stunning. After 20 years, we decided to paint the majority of our home interior. After taking several bids for the job, we opted to go with That 1 Painter in Williamsburg, VA. Our first encounter was with Carmen Racciatti who met with us promptly, went through the options, project scope, colors, paints from Shirwin Williams and more, and got us on schedule allowing time for our home preparations. We spent a considerable amount of time with Carmen which did not feel rushed or pressured. Carmen provided references and other materials in a professional portfolio folder. We were very specific about scope of work which was very helpful. On the first of six paint days, the crew arrived on time and got right to work and ended their day shortly after 5PM. Each day was the same with clean up to ensure accumulated debris from wall crack repairs, sanding and the like were not allowed to build up. The paint crew lead was very attentive, careful, and detailed. Every question, concern was promptly met with a can-do response. We always felt we could engage the painters directly as needed. The paint crew focused on prep-work with painting to follow which made for excellent outcomes room after room. We just had our entire downstairs interior painted and the team at That1Painter Williamsburg far exceeded our expectations (and I have perfectionist tendencies mixed with a hint of skepticism)! Carmen is incredibly responsive, patient (with me!), adaptable, and his pricing was reasonable without sacrificing quality of product or craftsmanship. The site-based team was in our home for a total of four days from start to finish, and was professional, efficient, highly-skilled, detail oriented, and dedicated to our project. I am not sure how they managed to do so, but it was apparent that they took great care to ensure the area was as clean and functional as possible before packing up each evening.
